Interviews

The same five questions

Every practitioner gets an identical set, in the same order, whatever their role or country. Fixing the questions keeps the answers comparable and stops an interview turning into a profile.
  1. 01What problem were you trying to solve?
  2. 02What solution did you develop?
  3. 03What made it work?
  4. 04What challenges remain?
  5. 05What could another country learn from your experience?

Question four is the one that matters most. People are usually willing to talk about what is still wrong with something they built, and that answer is generally worth the trip on its own.

Interviews are recorded only with consent, published only with consent, and always with a transcript so the answers can be read rather than only watched.

No expert profiles yet

A profile publishes someone name, role and affiliation. We add one only where that person has consented to publication, and never from a scraped or inferred source.

If you are considering taking part, this is also the answer to the question you are probably about to ask: nothing about your organization appears publicly unless you have approved it, and logistical details you share with us are never published at all.
