Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of CircularJourney.org, which is run by Circular Journey, an independent research and knowledge-exchange initiative founded by Vivek Kumar and Prashant Gautam. By using the website you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.

How we handle personal information is set out separately in the Privacy Policy, and how you may reuse our material in the Copyright, Intellectual Property and Contributions page. Both form part of these terms.

You may read, share and link to anything on this website. You agree not to:

• use it for anything unlawful, or to harm, harass or deceive anyone;
• submit information about another person without their permission, or pretend to be someone else;
• send anything defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or that infringes someone else’s rights;
• try to gain access to the administration console, the server or any data you are not entitled to;
• interfere with the website, send automated or bulk submissions, or test its security without our written agreement;
• present Circular Journey, its research or its founders as endorsing you, your organisation or your product.

If you find a security weakness, please tell us at [email protected] rather than testing it further. We are grateful for responsible reports.

Circular Journey publishes research, interviews, field observations and publicly available information for educational and knowledge-exchange purposes. Every factual claim is labelled with the kind of evidence behind it, and every figure carries its source and date.

The research is not legal, financial, engineering or professional advice. Laws, programmes and systems change, and information can become out of date. Please check anything you intend to rely on against the original source, particularly where it concerns laws, regulations, technical standards, government programmes or operating data. More in the Disclaimer.

Mention of a government, university, company, organisation or programme does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, certification or official partnership unless the page says so expressly. We describe a relationship as a partnership only when one has been confirmed and the organisation has agreed to the description.

The text, research, photographs, films, design and marks on this website belong to Circular Journey or to the people who created them. You may quote and share them with credit, as described in Copyright, Intellectual Property and Contributions, but you may not present them as your own or use the Circular Journey name or logo to suggest a connection that does not exist.

When you send us a form, you confirm that what you have written is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are entitled to share it. You keep ownership of what you send. We use it only for the purpose you sent it for, as described in the Privacy Policy.

We publish nothing you send us — no quotation, photograph, recording or organisation listing — without a specific permission to publish it, and you can withdraw that permission.

We link to other websites, including the sources behind our research and the organisations we write about. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but we may change, correct, move or remove any part of it at any time, and we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors. Where we correct something that was published, we say so.

The website is provided free of charge and as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss that results from relying on it, from its being unavailable, or from websites we link to.

Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit, or takes away any right you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you live outside India, you keep the protection of any mandatory law of your own country, and may bring a claim in its courts where that law allows.

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the version and the date at the top and record the change in the version history below. The version published when you use the website is the one that applies.

Questions about these terms: [email protected]. These terms are published in English, which is the version that applies.
