Circular Journey is an independent global field research and knowledge-exchange initiative studying waste management, recycling, circular economy and resource recovery. Founded in 2026 by Vivek Kumar and Prashant Gautam, it visits waste and resource systems around the world, documents how they work, and connects the practitioners behind them with counterparts in India. The programme runs to 2047, with field research beginning in 2027. A knowledge-exchange summit in India is proposed for 2029 but is not confirmed.

Field research begins in 2027 and there is no photography from it. Rather than supply stock images that imply journeys that have not happened, this section stays empty. When there are photographs, each will carry its creator, its licence and confirmation that the people and premises shown consented to publication.
