Circular Journey is two people, Vivek Kumar and Prashant Gautam, travelling country by country to learn how the world handles its waste. If you would like to host us at your home while we pass through, wherever you are, we would be glad to hear from you.

Months or seasons are fine. We plan the route well ahead, because of visas and tickets.

Where you live

Optional, and often the most interesting part.

Anything about waste, recycling or reuse near you that we should see?(optional)

How your street sorts its rubbish, a market, a repair shop, a collectors' cooperative. Anything.

Anything else we should know(optional)

Anything that would help us plan, or that a guest in your home should know.

Step 4

Privacy, and one confirmation

What happens to what you send, and what we will never ask of you.

What we do not ask. Your street address: if a stay is agreed after a video call, we ask for it by email. Anything about the other people in your home.

Who sees it. Only the two of us. Your name, your home, your address and your family are never published. Nothing inside your home, and nobody in it, is photographed or filmed without asking on the day.

How long. Offers are deleted 36 months after you send them, because the journey runs over several years. You can ask for yours to be deleted sooner.

How a stay works

1ReceivedYou send this form and get a reference number straight away.
2We replyWe reply within 2 to 30 days, and tell you whether a stay could fit our route.
3A video callWe talk before anything is agreed, so that both sides have met.
4Dates agreedWell before we travel, because we need time to arrange visas and tickets.
5The stayEither side can change their mind at any point, without giving a reason.

Local rules

In some countries a host has to register a foreign guest with the local authorities. If that applies where you live, we go through it with you before we arrive.

Your home stays private

Your name, address and family are never published, and nothing inside your home is photographed or filmed without asking on the day. Hosting us has no bearing on what we write about your city or your country.
